Abstract: the article deals with the material of poetic texts of Soviet poet Mikhail Isakovskiy and analyzes a fragment of its onomastic background. The author substantiates that the investigated proper names can be referred to the periphery of the onomasticon. Key background onims defining the features of a poet's idiostyle are interpreted.
