Abstract. The present article is aimed at the complex study and systematization of English terms found in the "Text Linguistics" subject field and denoting its main research objects, sections and related philological disciplines. The need to arrange the terms is caused by big number of linguistic schools which have different viewpoints concerning the problem of text and use different terminology. As a result, this involves the formation of an extensive network of semantic connections among "Text Linguistics" terms. Thesaurus approach to the
modelling of linguistic objects deals with the technique performing the construction of terminological semantic space, which proved to be invaluable in our study. This technique revealed hierarchical, equivalent and associative relations that connect isolated terminological signs into a coherent terminological field, divided into two semantic micro-fields – "Interdisciplinary Perspectives" and "Basic Notions".
