Abstract: the present study analyzes specifics of question-and-answer sequences with a disjunctive question. The mechanism for establishing implicative relations between explicit denotativecommunicative meaning and implicit presupposition meaning in the question-and-answer system is viewed. The role of the presupposition of interaction for the identification of implicit communicative meaning by answers to a disjunctive question is determined.
