Abstract: gender stereotypes of Russian girls and boys expressing their ideas about themselves and about each other are revealed in the article. The author analyses the display of gender stereotypes in youth culture, describes the means of expression of gender stereotypes in youth's speech and shows the preferences based on the gender.
