Abstract: the article deals with the ways of objectivating the category of interdiscursivity. Stylistic characteristics typical of different discourses such as literary, journalistic, official, colloquial ones are defined by means of analyzing the narration style of English scientific economic texts; the reasons for such interaction are defined.
