Abstract: this article is devoted to the analysis of a fairy tale discourse. The author characterizes thematic groups, including lexemes, which nominate personages of fairy tales, magic creatures and magical means that help the personages to overcome hardships. The article deals with linguocultural specific features of Russian and French fairy tales.
