Abstract: the article deals with the comparative analysis of dialectological maps showing the meteorological lexocon of dialects of the Volgograd region. The investigation is carried out on the basis of an undifferentiated approach to the study of language dialects. The specific features of the semantics and functioning of all-Russian dialect and the actual dialectal units are determined. The dependence of the areal distribution of words on the specific geographic region is established.
