Abstract: the author reveals peculiarities of euphemism functioning in a document text and offers the structure of its semantic description. The article dwells on intentions of a corporate author of a document and the way of their representing by means of euphemisms of different levels of the language system. The structure of the euphemism semantic description as a speech act is put forward.
