Abstract: it is established that the combination of axemes (value judgments that integrate a speaker and the audience) is a basic component of reasoning, the basis in the search and selection of rhetorical arguments. Identified and described personal axemes (pragmatic, intellectual, moral, ethical, relative) as the necessary structural elements of the argumentative model of judicial defense speech.
