Abstract: the article deals with the peculiarities of pseudo-univerbalization as the process of formation of the word-combination representing an equivalent of a compound word. The author gives the definition of pseudo-univerbalization concept, describes the types of its transformations and methods of distinguishing the pseudo-univerbats from the univerbats.
