Abstract: the article analyses various secondary phenomena which are of more and more wide practice in modern languages. Also the author analyses the practice of speech interaction, the mechanisms of forming the secondary semantics and forms of linguistic units are. Special attention is paid to the fact of widening the sphere of their functioning in modern communicative space. The article gives the examples of secondary phenomena in the sphere of Internet and their both positive and negative purposes.
