Abstract. The current online communication space is characterized by rapid growth of intentionally fabricated forms of posting deliberately false information. The common way of explicating lies, which demonstrates the greatest persuasive potential, is a fake post. The genre diversity of initial posts and their multi-interpretative nature dictate the variability of the representation of negative reactions to fake content in commentative subgenres. A non-cooperative explanation that is based on the deconstruction of cognitive and emotional dominants of the initial post remains a leading strategy. The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the functional and pragmatic potential of the deconstruction mechanism in terms of demonstrating a non-cooperative reaction of disagreement with both the form and the generalized content of a fake post. Micro-contexts of commentaries, which transfer the exposure and rejection on lies in the original item, served as the empirical material. The scientific novelty lies in considering deconstruction as the main argumentative mechanism for verbalizing the general strategy of explanation, in identifying and analyzing the key characteristics of the variability of non-cooperative interaction and commentary. Based on the cognitive-and-discursive analysis and the integral description with parameterization of genre stratification, the authors delimitate subgenre formations: instruction, definition-based description, affirmation, which differ significantly in the type of de-objectification/objectification reflection. Deconstruction forms a special area of non-cooperative response, possessing high persuasive potential, with a sufficient degree of explication of epistemic confidence, which allows levelling out discrepancies in the interpretation of the fake, forming a stable mono-vector assessment and prevention of obviously false conflict-generating content transmission.
