Abstract: this paper is devoted to the analysis of the problems of the conjunctive constructions description in modern academic books. The author makes an attempt to substantiate the necessity of considering "conjunction" as a separate variety of the syntactic connection. This type of syntactic connection has specific structural and semantic features.
