Abstract: the article deals with the concept of linguocultural environment and determines it as a set of ethnic and linguocultural systems that form a sustainable and dynamic unity of a linguocultural situation in the region as a whole. The article also describes the Volgograd oblast linguocultural situation and characterizes its main components.
